Money and credit. We talk about them constantly in business and the news. But we rarely discuss these subjects over dinner with friends and family. Except perhaps, when there is an argument over the lack of money to meet financial obligations or the mismanagement of funds.
We are surrounded by opportunities to spend money and the temptation to borrow. Yet, despite this, little is known by ordinary people about the world of money and credit. Some of us come to the United States from countries that have different financial systems, where establishing good credit is not as easy as it is in the U.S.
We owe it to ourselves to develop a better understanding of how to safeguard our hard earned money by protecting our credit, and how to make our money and credit work for us by opening doors of opportunity.
